After its successful introduction in The Netherlands, there has been an increasing demand for Trisoplast from other countries too. Based on extensive independent research results, specialized institutes concluded that Trisoplast has significantly better properties than traditional clay liners and bentonite mats (GCL), to which it was compared.
Besides having become the preferred mineral barrier for landfill applications in The Netherlands, Trisoplast has also frequently been used abroad. Not only in the field of landfills and remediation, but also for infrastructural and industrial purposes as well as in landscaping projects.
It has been used successfully in a wide range of European countries; for example in Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, the UK, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Finland and Sweden, as well as in a number of non-European countries, e.g. Malaysia, Singapore, Mexico and Argentina.
