On 12^th and 13^th November 2009 the annual International Landfill Workshop will take place in Zittau, Germany. This year's theme is "Requirements for the restoration and the water balance layer under consideration of the climate changes".

On Friday, November 13^th, Mr. Ulrich Pflaumann of TD Umwelttechnik GmbH will give a presentation titled "The new landfill directive – Challenges for sealing materials from the view of a manufacturer".

This workshop is supported by the EU Goal3 programme for the reinforcement of cross-border cooperation between the CzechRepublic and the German region Saxony. It is organised jointly by the University Zittau/Görlitz (Institut für Technologieentwicklung, Torf- und Naturstoff-Forschung) and the Technical University Liberec (Institut für neue Technologien und angewandte Informatik).

Vom 12 bis 13. November 2009 findet wieder der jährliche internationale Deponieworkshop in Zittau, Deutschland statt. Das diesjährige Thema lautet: "Anforderungen an Rekultivierungs- und Wasserhaushaltsschichten unter dem Einfluss des Klimawandels".

Am Freitag, den 13. November wird Herr Dipl.-Ing. Ulrich Pflaumann der TD Umwelttechnik GmbH, Barsbüttel zu dem aktuellen Thema: "Die neue Deponieverordnung - Herausforderungen an Dichtungsbaustoffe aus Sicht eines Herstellers" referieren.

Der Workshop wird durch das EU Programm Goal3 zur Stärkung der grenzüberschreitenden Beziehungen zwischen der Tschechischen Republik und dem Bundesland Sachsen unterstützt. Organisiert wird der Workshop in Zusammenarbeit mit der Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz (Institut für Technologieentwicklung, Torf- und Naturstoff-Forschung) und der Technischen Universität Liberec (Institut für neue Technologien und angewandte Informatik).
